For people in Madison County and surrounding areas, medicine with the personal touch is close at hand through the Hot Springs Health Program.

For more than 45 years, HSHP has enabled families to receive personalized medical care, in or near their communities, by dedicated doctors and other health professionals they choose themselves, seven days a week.

HSHP offers a full range of primary and preventative medical services as well as treatment of acute and chronic conditions for all ages — young and old alike — at four convenient locations.  In order to meet the needs of all of our patients, our Mars Hill and Mashburn Medical Centers are open for extended hours.

Home Care & Hospice

 

Helping families care for their loved ones at home.

Most people prefer to be in their own homes to recover from illness or surgery, to take care of their chronic illnesses or to live out a limited life expectancy. Madison Home Care and Hospice provides quality health care in the homes of residents of Madison County as well as the surrounding areas including Buncombe and Yancey counties.

behavioral health

Behavioral Health services are offered for Hot Springs Health Program patients at our Mars Hill Medical Center, and provide treatment for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and disorders related to trauma.  Treatment is provided for teens, adults, and the geriatric population.  Assessment and referral is available for children.  Please ask your provider for more information or call 828-689-3507 for an appointment.

Our Behavioral Health Clinician is Linda Darress, LCSW.  Linda graduated from Mars Hill College with a degree in Social Work.  She received her Masters of Social Work from the University of South Carolina.   Linda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.   She has worked 25+ years in the Behavioral Health field in various settings including in-patient treatments programs, residential programs, and out-patient treatment
